The material

Unmatched timeless elegance

Marble has been the standard for luxury architecture and interior design for centuries. Formed from limestone subjected to extreme heat and pressure, this natural stone is renowned for its luminous surface and distinct, flowing veining patterns.

  • Classic aesthetic

No engineered stone can perfectly replicate the genuine depth and organic veining of natural marble varieties like Calacatta, Carrara, and Statuario. Each slab is a unique piece of geological art.

  • Naturally cool surface

Because marble remains naturally cool to the touch, it is the premier surface choice for serious bakers and pastry chefs working with dough.

  • Ideal applications

Due to its softer composition, marble is highly sought after for master bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds, shower walls, and low-traffic baking stations where its aesthetic can be showcased.

  • Care and aging

Marble is a porous natural stone that will patinate over time. It requires regular sealing and immediate attention to spills (especially acids like lemon or wine) to prevent etching and staining. For many homeowners, this natural "living finish" is part of the stone's authentic charm.

Marble questions, answered honestly

If your question is not here, call us. You will speak to an installer, not a call centre.

Is marble a good choice for a busy family kitchen?+

While beautiful, marble is softer and more porous than granite or quartz. It is susceptible to etching from acidic foods (like citrus, vinegar, and tomato sauce) and can stain if spills are not wiped up quickly. If you have a highly active kitchen and want low maintenance, we generally recommend quartzite or engineered quartz. If you embrace the natural patina and aging of stone, marble is a stunning choice.

How often do I need to seal my marble countertops?+

To maintain maximum stain resistance, natural marble countertops should be professionally sealed upon installation, and resealed by the homeowner every 6 to 12 months, depending on the volume of daily use.

What is the difference between Carrara and Calacatta marble?+

Both are premium Italian marbles, but they have distinct looks. Carrara typically features a softer, greyer background with fine, feathery veining. Calacatta is generally rarer, featuring a brighter white background with bold, dramatic, and thicker veining.

How long does the process take?+

After you select your marble slab and we complete the digital templating of your space, fabrication takes about 5 to 7 business days. Our crews will then complete the on-site installation in a single day.
